There are increasing opportunities in certain areas particularly where the French government has identified future population growth and therefore property demand. In addition there are certain regions and towns which attract tourism and the indiginous poulation is growing and the need for hotel accommodation has been identified as a priority for the local authorities.

One such area is Languedoc where the population is set to grow by 30% over the next 20 years. For example Nimes has a dire shortage of hotels and has recently had to turn away large business conferences.
